About Me
- Name: saiping lok
- Location: L.A., United States
I was born in GuangZhou, China. My early art education started back to 1974. I immigrated into U.S. in 1983. I studied illustration in Art Center, Cal State Long Beach and California Art Institute . I 've been working for Mickey Mouse studio as a development artist since 1993. I never stop painting from nature and I'm fascinated by the landscape of the Goldern State. My desire to depict her beauty become more intense than ever before. In order to capture the fleeing sun lit scene, one has to have the ability to translate the overwhelming information into some simple abstract color shapes and brush strokes, then a painting . That still remains a great charllenge to me.
